Cook Islands is definitely a beautiful place to vacation and I love the fact that no foreigners can own the land leaving it to the locals. And yes you are right the islands are still pristine. I hope it will stay that way not like what is happening to the islands of Hawaii that is so commercialized.

There’s a lot of sharks but its the black tip and white tip sharks 🦈. They don’t bother people.

So how frequently do you see them? I think I'd handle maybe fine, but my partner would probably be scared, black tip is still capable of harm, unlike nurse sharks. Do they ever come close, interact in some way?

@lastchancefancypants7905 the sharks are all over the place even in shallow waters, I mean ankle deep water but if they see people they will run away. They don’t go near people.

I visited those restaurants according to the site based on travelers recommendations. I know there are great restaurants on Hilo side. I will be making a video on that side of the island.
